Huiren sensors with advanced micro electronic integrated circuit technology

The sensors provide a linear digital output characteristic with displacement which can be proportional to the supply voltage. Its DC analogue output signal represents absolute position and is available immediately on power up. The potentiometric displacement sensors have major advantages over LVDT's and other similar sensors. They are more compact, more accurate, robust and need no special sensitive magnetic components or magnets which attract debris. The micro electronic interface which produces the output signal is combined into a single custom ASIC with the minimum of additional surface mount components. The interface, which has a high level of EMC protection built in, needs a DC supply and a range of electrical I/O options are available to suit customer requirements.

Huiren sensors can specify the exact length

As with all of Huiren sensors the customer can specify the exact length that they require to measure and Huiren will manufacture the unit specifically for that length and supply the unit calibrated. The positioning sensors is available with any length of electrical travel ranging anywhere from 5mm to 800mm. For example, if your application requires 10" (254 mm) measurement then Huiren will manufacture the sensor specifically for this length. The mechanical length and calibration will be set up for 254 mm. The Digital Sensor is housed inside a stainless steel body and the probe coil is encased within a flouropolymer sheath, both of which offer good protection for this rugged sensor.
